Rick Santiago

Hi, my name is Kalisha Montilla and I'm a close friend and consider myself family to Rick and Lisa Santiago. I love them dearly and it pains me greatly to have to do this.

It's with a heavy heart that I tell you the sad news about our dear friend Rick Santiago. Rick was recently diagnosis with Anaplastic (ATC)  Thyroid Cancer. I have known the Santiago's for 11 years and many of you have known them a lot longer. Rick is a loving husband to his wife Lisa and an amazing father to his adoring son Mark. Rick has been with United Airlines for over 30+ years and is one of the few Global Master Jetbridge Trainers United Airlines has. Rick has taught classes and trained a vast majority of us. He has traveled all over, training and mastering his craft. He has been a mentor to many and a coach to many more of us.

Rick has recently undergone surgery and awaiting the next steps of fighting this horrible disease that has afflicted many. We are establishing this fundraiser to help with medical and living expenses as the Santiago's put forth their energy towards Rick's health. Rick and Lisa will soon be in a situation where we all hope to never be. I ask that no matter who you are or how much you can spare, be it any kind of monetary donations you can give will go a long way to allow this amazing family to focus on whats most important.
