Richard St Germain

As many of you have heard, our valued co-worker and friend Richard St Germain suffered a heart attack last week while on site in Riggins, Idaho.  Richard was safely transported to McCall, then Boise and is now in the cardiac unit in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah Medical Center. Richard is in good spirts and in good hands while he goes through a series of tests and observation to determine the next course of action. He has a leaky aorta valve which, as we understand, is a tricky and delicate spot in the heart and will require major surgery.

 

Richard is not only a dedicated employee to McAlvain and the projects he manages, he is a single father at the moment. His son living with him, a senior in High School, is in Boise and making arrangements to travel to SLC to be with his Dad.  This puts an incredible amount of stress and worry on a young man and his father who is fighting for his life.

 

We all know Richard, his dedication, work ethic and his good natured manner. He would be the first to step up and help any of us.  Please consider any donation to help him and his son get through this challenge and take some of the burden off. I assure Richard every day that everyone at McAlvain is thinking of him.
