#RH8STRONG “Ryan Hurley update”

We wanted to give everyone an update on Ryan's condition since there has been so much love and support for her through her battle. Most of you know she had a 2-day very extensive surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas on December 13th and 14th to remove her sacrum as the cancer was localized there. The surgery was a success, however, on January 22, 2023, she started experiencing some complications. Without going into extensive detail, the cancer spread to multiple areas of her body. After extensive discussions with Doctors in Houston, the decision was made to fly her home to Orlando, Florida as all treatment options had been exhausted. Ryan is currently at home in Hospice care. 

Many have reached out asking "How I can help support Ryan and the Hurleys," and here's how: Ryan's treatment and care has come with extensive costs including post-op rehab and a medical charter flight back home to Orlando to Arnold Palmer Pediatric ICU. We also ask for your continued prayers and well wishes for Ry and her family.

The family asks you to respect their privacy right now and not inundate them with calls, texts, etc., to allow them to maximize their focus on Ryan. Ryan has been a warrior from day one and she is well loved.
