"Fire on the Roof"

Hi, my name is Repunzal. July 24th, 2022, was a devastating day for my husband, Gene and me. As we sat home watching TV, we started seeing smoke from the ceiling. Gene immediately ran outside to see smoke coming from the roof. I called 911, and thank goodness the fire department was here in a matter of minutes and put the fire out. It was so devastating and helpless to watch our house burn. Due to the quick response from the fire department, they could put the fire out with minimal fire and water damage.

It was determined that the fire was sparked due to electrical issues within the house and with all the recent heat we've had didn't help.

Therefore the entire house will need rewiring.

Unfortunately, we did not have homeowners insurance to cover the extensive roof and rewiring cost. Our home incurred some interior smoke damages and will need painting to restore a wholesome living environment. Being senior citizens, we would greatly appreciate any donation to help us regain our living conditions.
