Reuben is an eight year old Walker Beagle who requires an urgent operation to remove an expanding cricket ball sized growth next to his anus.

His owner receives the Disability Support Pension and does not have the savings or assets to fund Reuben’s operation. The growth is impacting Reuben’s ability to easily defecate and he has developed tremors in both hind legs.

This GoFundMe appeal will fund the immediate removal of the growth, pathology and post-operative care.

Walker Beagles are a Walker Treeing Coonhound x Beagle mix and quite common in the United States, where the Coonhound is trained to climb trees to hunt racoons.

They are relatively rare in Australia.

Reuben is about the size of a Labrador. At eight years old he is estimated to be at the halfway point in his lifespan.
