Restore Hope for Johnny and His Music

John Peraza aka Johnny Carnage has been a musician in the high desert community for 15 plus years. He’s donated his time and talent to raise money for many noble causes during benefit shows. Not to mention this was also another way for him to bring income into his family, as he’s a hard working father of 3.

On April 25th 2025 he played a free show for many people in the community at the Hilltop Tavern and Inn. Hours after the show his Chevy Tahoe was stolen from his apartment with the drums inside.

The vehicle has been recovered as it was dumped only 6 miles from his home. But the drum he’s used for the majority of his career were gone. These drums meant a lot to him. They were sentimental. He toured across the country with those drums. Debo aka Tiny Lister played those drums in the “poolside” music video for Twenty Dollar Prophets. They carried him through his career.

We are raising money to replace the items that were stolen. Although it won’t fix the hurt in his heart, we know it would give him hope and strength to carry on with music through the strength of our community.

Help restore his drums and his faith in humanity. And let’s not allow this travesty to take anything away from his kids.
