Restore Education for Afghan Girls at AB Academy

AB Academy stands as a symbol of resilience, hope, and empowerment for Afghan girls who have been deprived of their basic right to education. This institution was built to address the severe gap in education after the fall of Afghanistan when the Taliban's takeover led to the banning of girls from attending schools and universities.

• Students: 200+ in Pakistan and over 500 Afghan girls online (and increasing daily)

• Teachers: 26 teachers, divided into Cambridge subject teachers (English Academic Curriculum) and Afghan subject teachers.

• Grades: The program currently serves grades from 1st to 6th physical for girls and boys and from 7th to 12th online for afghan girls only prioritizing afghan girls from Afghanistan and Pakistan

• Without this funding, we risk shutting down and, in doing so, breaking the dreams of hundreds of Afghan girls who rely on us for their education.

After the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, one of their most devastating policies was the prohibition of education for girls. Thousands of young girls, who once had dreams of becoming doctors, teachers, engineers, and leaders, were suddenly cut off from their studies. This injustice left a whole generation of young Afghan women without access to education, robbing them of opportunities to build their futures. AB Academy is a school established in Pakistan, specifically designed for Afghan refugee girls and boys who were deprived of education.
