Hello friends and family. I have no words to describe what is going on in my country right now.

 

As many of you have seen on the news, Russia has invaded my home country of Ukraine. As of the past few days, they have now been targeting civilian centers and many people have been killed and severely injured.

 

Where I’m from and where the majority of my family resides is Novi Petrivtsi and Stari Petrivtsi, just 30 minutes north of Kiev. Many people in my village have little to no food, but that is the least of their worries. This fund would be sent out for relief after the dust settles hopefully in the near future to provide aid. It will directly get transferred to a volunteer group working diligently in my village to provide aid for the surrounding subsidiaries in Kiev known as  Lutizh, Novi Petrivtsi, Stari Petrivtsi, and Vyshgorod.  

 

I rarely ask for hand outs but I’m just trying to at least do something because I feel so powerless here in the states knowing that my family and childhood friends are fighting for their lives back

home. I appreciate all of you and thank you to everyone who have reached out in regards to the situation.
