Recently diagnosed Vet with Lymphatic Luekemia

My name is Apryl. I am the mother of three amazing children. I am an Air Force veteran and my health struggles started roughly 2 years ago. They discovered I had something wrong with my lungs during a follow up of not being able to get over pneumonia. I was sent to the emergency room to have more tests. Only to find out that I didn't have pneumonia and they didn't know what I had. They sent me to a specialist who was able to tell me that I had an extremely rare lung condition called Fibrosing mediastinitis. The doctors said i have had exposure 15-20 years ago. To keep it simple my lungs are filled with excessive scarring, lesions, and calcification. My right side pulmonary veins are closed causing the slow loss of my right lung. Some describe it as turning to concrete like. My bloodwork continued to be out of whack. Tests after tests, and two years later I have been diagnosed with B Cell Chronic Lymphocytic Luekemia. I continue to hear how rare my conditions are or that I should not have CLl that I am to young as the average diagnosed person is 65-70 years old. My first duty station is considered an EPA superfund site that causes this condition and many more. I have filed disability for the VA but at this time there is no clear answer or result as to when they will be processed and completed.
