My name is Derek Iranon and have had the privilege of calling Sozo Church (formerly Rock of Ages Christian Fellowship) my home for all 37 years of my life.
Yesterday, our pastors, Mark and Tai Blair, experienced the unimaginable. The wildfire that devastated parts of the Spokane area claimed their home and everything they owned.
Mark and Tai's story is one of faithful service. Long before they were planting churches, and later coming home, when Sozo and the Rock of Ages Christian fellowship merged 11 years ago, they taught me and many others in Sunday school at the Rock. For decades, they have, and continue to faithfully serve God and the church.
Mark is an incredible worship leader, pastor, husband, and father whose passion for God's Word has impacted countless lives. Tai is an exceptional pastor, devoted wife and mother, and one of the most genuine, caring, and compassionate people you will ever meet. Together, they have spent their lives encouraging the broken, praying for those in need, celebrating victories, walking with people through loss, and pointing others to Christ.
Now, they are the ones facing an overwhelming loss.
If Mark and Tai have ever encouraged you, prayed with you, led you in worship, or impacted your life in any way, we invite you to join us in giving back to a family that has faithfully given so much to others.
Every donation, 100% of the funds raised, will go directly to Mark and Tai Blair to help them begin piecing back their lives after this devastating wildfire. If you're unable to give financially, your prayers are just as valuable. Please pray for peace, strength, wisdom, and God's continued provision as they navigate the difficult days ahead.
Thank you for helping us demonstrate God's goodness, grace and love of His people during this season. Together, let's remind Mark and Tai that they are deeply loved and that they are not walking through this alone.
