My name is La'Rae Lovell, and my older sister, Achim Airitam, has been affected by the recent wildfires. In the Eaton Fire, my sister lost her home, a 1912 Craftsman located at 2172 Maiden Ln, Altadena. This home wasn’t just a house—it was where she grew up, filled with memories of our late mother, who worked tirelessly to provide it for us. I genuinely believe that if she hadn’t worked so hard to give to my family and community, she might still be with us today.

Like many affected by the Eaton Fire, my sister evacuated at night when there was no electricity, and she could not find a flashlight. She was not able to gather my mother's ashes, my parents' wedding albums, her childhood mementos, and so many other precious items.

For those who knew my mother or my sister, there is a high likelihood you had attended a house party, appreciated a home-cooked meal, or even lived at the house when you were down on your luck. We need your help.

Now, my sister faces the overwhelming task of rebuilding her life from scratch. We’re asking for your support to help with immediate needs like temporary housing and the first steps toward rebuilding. We are looking to utilize your donation for:
