❤️ Help Rebecca Fight Her Way Back to Health

Sometimes life can change in a single moment.

That is exactly what happened to our dear friend Rebecca.

Rebecca was living her life, working, taking care of herself, and doing her best to live a healthy lifestyle. She had no idea that something so serious was happening inside her body.

Then, completely out of nowhere, Rebecca was diagnosed with cardiac sarcoidosis, a rare and serious condition affecting her heart and causing her to go into heart failure.

What followed was 12 terrifying days in the hospital.

In order to help keep her heart beating safely, Rebecca had to undergo a procedure to have a defibrillator/pacemaker implanted. This device is now something she will depend on to help protect her life.

And unfortunately, the timing couldn’t have been worse.

Due to circumstances beyond her control, Rebecca recently found herself without health insurance. She is now facing what will likely be overwhelming medical bills from her hospitalization, procedures, testing, medications, and continued medical care.

And while she is trying to heal, she can’t simply go back to normal.

Rebecca needs to be out of work for the next couple of months to allow her body to recover from everything it has been through. That means no regular paycheck while her medical bills continue to arrive—and everyday bills like housing, utilities, food, transportation, and other necessities don’t stop just because someone becomes sick.

She didn’t ask for this. She didn’t see it coming. And she shouldn’t have to face it alone.

We are starting this fundraiser because we want Rebecca to be able to concentrate on the one thing that matters most right now: healing and getting her life back.

Every donation will help take some of the financial weight off her shoulders and help cover her medical expenses and everyday living costs while she is unable to work.
