Hollis Family Fire Fund

Today one of my student's home was involved in a 2 alarm fire . The family lost everything they owned.  I just happened to drive by on my lunch hour and witnessed the scene. I stopped to offer my condolences. Dad just wept. It was his fault, he said.  He forgot to take a pan off the stove. 

Tonight, I spoke to mom...she is completely broken. "I've started over so many times in my life, I just don't know if I can do it again," she cried.  "I kept putting off getting renter's insurance. There was always something that needed to be dealt with." I reassured her that she and her family were loved. The community would help them rebuild their lives.

If you can spare anything to help this family in desperate need, they will never forget your kindness.
