Raw - A Short Film

Hi! My name is Myles Isreal, a representative of the Mad Kidd Collection team!

Being an ever developing filmmaker, I'm looking to find my place in the industry and carve out a unique voice and vision. Like most creatives, I, and my team, want to tell fun and interesting stories, but also include sociopolitical topics that can spark discussion and debate about things relevant to our society. We currently live in an era where science and professional industries are becoming more and more discredited as alternative pseudoscience becomes pushed to the forefront. I aim to capture some of these "special" ideas that exist in our society and create compelling and engaging narratives around them while also taking some of the legs, if you will, out from under these think pieces by bringing them to the front of the congregation, and dispelling some of its rhetoric.

Also, it's a pretty funny project, and it's always good to make fun of people and ideas that push forth dangerous nonsense into our culture. Let's disincentivize these dangerous health rhetoric!

$1000 - Shooting location fees

$500 - Post Production and Festival Fund!
