Rami’s Family

Hi everyone ♥️
I am running a half marathon on Sunday 10th November, and attempting to raise as much as possible for a friend of a friend who’s family is currently trapped in Gaza.
Rami lives in the Netherlands, and has already lost his father and brother. His niece who was a young child was also killed by an Israeli air strike in the last few weeks.
The financial burden now lays on him to raise enough money to get his family out of this horrific situation. His family are currently living in tents without warm clothing or easy access to food.
I am asking people for any donation they can afford big or small. The amount they need in total is £20,000 (to evacuate the entire family) which is obviously a lot of money. But every little helps, and this money will go directly to saving this family.
I am sure that most of you are up to date on the current situation with the war, but just a few points to mention to really stress the dire situation that people are currently living through :
- Gaza has become the deadliest place in the world to be a child according to the UN.
- Over 20,000 children are estimated to be missing, and thousands are presumed dead beneath the rubble.
- 70 percent of Palestinians killed so far have been women and children.
- Over 25,000 children have either lost a parent or become orphans
