Hello, my Name is Victor Lopez. I am Addie Cox’s travel softball coach. She’s a hardworking, competitive, and loving person, that is one of the most selfless young ladies you will meet. This past weekend we were playing a tournament in MT, during our second game of the morning, after hitting a triple and sliding into 3rd, Addie arose to clean off, and then collapsed. She had to receive emergency medical treatment both on the field and at a local hospital before being Life Flighted to the ICU at Primary Children’s in SLC. She is currently with a care team that is working to get her healed. I have no way of knowing how long she will be there or what else she will endure, but as a father and coach, I want to ask for anything you are willing to help with. I can’t imagine being in a hospital waiting for results of my loved one to then come home and figure out the financial burden that comes with such an ordeal. I am reaching out on my own as we in the softball community know it takes a village. I need our village today, and need your support as well your prayers.
