This is Dr. Mehta one of the Interventional radiologists. I have worked at Northside Cherokee Hospital with Travis Lovett for the last 10 years in the department of radiology. Some of you may know him during the time he worked in the EV OR with Vascular Surgery.

Travis was involved in a very serious car accident on 3/12/25. In that accident, he endured a burst fracture of his lumbar spine. Ultimately, this required an urgent fusion surgery which he had performed on 3/17/2025 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. While he is quite lucky to be alive and able to walk after his injury, he has endured significant pain and disability as a result of the accident and the subsequent surgery. He will be out of work for months, most likely.

This has left him and his family in a difficult financial situation, being that he is the primary breadwinner in the house. His wife, Taylor, who is a lovely human being is busy helping raise their two young children (Makai, three years old, and Sunday, one year-old). In addition to this, she has had to take over the arduous task of keeping their ranch and all the animals on their property taken care of.

The car was obviously totaled in the accident, and while they are insured, this will also pose a significant financial burden to them.

Travis is one of the nicest and thoughtful human beings that you will meet. He always puts the needs of others before him and is working hard to get back to normal. However, he is too nice to ask for help. This is why I have created this GoFundMe page. I know that he could use this help and would be immensely grateful for anybody who can contribute.
