Please help with Emmett's Medical Expenses

This is all about Emmett, a senior kitty who became mine through no fault of his own. Emmett Mortimer is an old timer who has had an awful life. I rescued him in March of 2020 when he showed up at my cat feeding station. He was emaciated and beat up. He was the easiest rescue in my life. Just scooped him, brought him in and had him vetted. During the pandemic, everyone was looking to foster. I really liked his mom when she called me and I loved that she had a big heart for old kitties. Emmett went from foster to adopted within 3 weeks...a street cat's fairytale until this January. Unfortunately, His mom took her own life and Emmett's was entrusted to me. Since that night when the police brought him to me, I have been in shock, confused, depressed and a myriad of others emotions. Basically, I have been alone in all of this as I did not know any of Dawne's friends. I really need the support of her friends now as EM has many medical issues that were not addressed since I initially vetted him. I am semi-retired so this has posed financial difficulties upon me. I need funds for his periodontal disease, monthly diabetes meds, vet visits, food and litter. I also have 2 other cats and a sickly 16 year old dog. I can't do this alone and I need help and support. Emmett has had a truly rotten time of it and I am here too make sure he is taken care of and loved for the rest of his life. We all deserve a helping hand when it is needed and we need yours.
