Rachel’s trip to Croatia for the FIM Women’s Gold Trophy

Hi everyone!

If you don’t know me, I’m Rachel, a British female speedway rider with a serious need for speed, and now, a serious need for your help! In a few weeks, I will be racing in the FIM Women’s Speedway Gold Trophy which this year, is being held in Croatia. I’m beyond excited (and maybe slightly terrified in the best way).

Last year saw me compete in the first ever FIM Women’s Gold Trophy event held in Germany. Despite coming last in my first race, I managed to pull it back in my next two races by scoring 6 points with two race wins which placed me 5th overall, in the world!

This is a huge opportunity to compete on the international stage for a second year, doing what I love: going around in circles as fast as I can, whilst battling it out with some of the fastest women in the world. As much as I wish adrenaline alone could get me there, unfortunately it won’t.

So, I’m asking for your support to get me and my bikes, to Croatia. Every penny will go toward making this dream a reality (and maybe a bit toward a strong coffee or two for my amazing Dad who has volunteered to drive the 1,900 mile round trip)
