On August 19, 2022, my husband, Todd, unexpectedly left this beautiful earth he loved so much. Todd had the biggest heart and felt on a deeper level than most. You could always find him on the side of the road, changing someone's tire, conversing about the meaning of life, or finding other ways to help people in need.
With his big heart came some challenges. He didn't know how to feel on such a deep level without trying to dampen it. Sometimes it was just too much. However, he felt like he was given this challenge to help others. So, this spring, he wrote a book about his life. In two months, he wrote this nearly 700-page book with his two thumbs on his cell phone.
Todd felt like his whole life was leading up to finishing his book, which he titled “Dear Addict.” Becoming an author was an accomplishment that he was most proud of. He felt that if the depth of addiction could be more fully understood, real change could happen, and he wanted to be a part of that.
Todd was pure love. You would be hard-pressed to find a more tender-hearted man. He loved everyone and always spoke positively of anyone he met or knew. He had an unconditional love for others that was to be admired.
It is my mission to publish his book and then share his message with those suffering from the disease of addiction directly or indirectly. Each chapter starts with a question for the addict, leaving the reader with a greater understanding of addiction's struggle. It is a raw, riveting and truthful journey.
Please Help us celebrate Todd’s life by donating to the publishing of his book “Dear Addict."
Thank you for your contribution,
Stephanie (his loving wife)
