Protect Sophie: Stop the Abuse

Hey everyone. This one's kind of sad... My niece ,Sophia, is 2 going on 3. While in her mother's care(2024) she was savagely beaten, starved, bitten, etc., by the mother and her boyfriend. She was placed in her father's care, by the state, (end of summer 2024) after being admitted into Children's Mercy for a brain bleed. She refused to eat or move during that time; it wasn't until her father came back that she changed. (The mother was holding her hostage from the father.) She now has permanent brain damage and bite mark scars on her her little body. The mother currently has a GoFundMe that has been mass reported, but nothing has been done. We have court documents and evidence backing everything. There are currently cases in Casenet that can be read where she openly admits that the abuse happened. There's a court case coming up(6-2-25) where they determine if Sophie is allowed to go back to the mother. For her safety, we CAN'T let that happen. The father retained a lawyer when this all first happened and was granted emergency custody. Now he's fighting to keep that custody from an abusive parent who beat a 2-year-old into a brain bleed. Who bites a 2-year-old? His lawyer collected money but so far isn't doing anything to keep this moving forward. (Lawyer wont respond so need to retain new lawyer) Thank you for any donations you're willing to give! Sophie is doing much better now. She receives care for her mental disabilities, she's talking more, she's no longer skin and bones, she's walking, and feeding herself. She wasn't doing half that when the father took custody. Anything would be helpful. I'd also like to point out shes lying to the courts. She knows exactly who and where Sophie is. She randomly messages the father innapropriate things.

According to court documents the boyfriend was removed April 1st 2025. Petition was filed April 8 2025. On April 1st the father was contacted by the mother and the father put Sophie on the phone for them to talk. Dad took phone away as soon as he heard the boyfriend start talking. All things noted in here have receipts.
