Pro Golf Career Fundraiser

My name is Kenedi Byard, an aspiring pro golfer on the East coast. I’m raising funds to support my participation in the WAPT (Women's All Pro Tour) this spring in the Midwest.

The opportunity I have in front of me has been my dream since I was a young child. I’ve continued to pursue golf since the age of 7, while I’ve fulfilled other career opportunities such as obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and then going on to Graduate School for a year only to realize what I wanted to do is my first passion which is playing golf professionally. While on this journey, I’ve had small successes in high school and collegiate golf. I lettered all four years while at Manchester High School, helping my high school team win the Dominion District Golf Championship, winning the Eagle’s Cup twice while at Richard Bland College, winning First Flight Consolation at the Richmond Women’s Golf Association (RWGA) City Amateur Golf Championship, Tied Second Gross Individual Stoke Play and Second Net Individual Stoke Play – Plantation Course in the 2022 Ladies’ Play Day – Kingsmill Resort, and winning Ladies Flight Gross First Place for the 2022 Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) One Day at Mattaponi Springs Golf Club, etc. I’ve continued to build on this success since then and I’ve seen tremendous growth in my skill along the way. Now I’m ready to take things to the next level as a professional golfer, but I will need your help to do that.

Today, I am launching a crowdfunding campaign to help raise money to assist with tour expenses (tournament fees, airfare, hotel, food, car rental, gas, caddie, etc.). I didn’t realize how expensive this would be, but I can’t allow this opportunity to pass me by. This is where I need your help. I’m writing to ask you for a donation. A donation of any size will help me accomplish my goal of having a professional career in golf.

If you have a business and your business would like to sponsor me, I’m willing to advertise your business logo on my golf hat or golf shirt. You will only need to provide me with an embroidery patch if this is something you are interested in.
