Mary Sitton is a 61 year old devoted wife, mother , and grandmother. She has spent her life working at their own business and giving to her family.
Mary was recently and suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Her friends and family are devistated. She had no idea that she was this ill.
The cost of insurance was so astronomical that they, like many other small business owners, couldn’t afford health insurance.
The treatment that she needs is very expensive and she has to commute 2 1/2 hours one way to get it. The cost of fuel alone is going to be extremly high, not to mention all the other medical costs.
Cindy and Jim Sibley and myself, Nancy Gilbert Hunter, have been Mary's friends for over 45 years. She is a beautiful person inside and out.
