While on vacation in Seaside, FL with her daughter, son-in-law and grandkids, Janet suffered a hard fall and hit her head, the first morning there. She suffered a traumatic subdural hematoma (brain bleed) and a fractured skull. She was care flighted to a Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. She spent several days in ICU and is still in the hospital.  The doctors and medical professionals are still monitoring her swelling and bleeding in the brain. 

She will most likely need a home care nurse as well as therapy until she recovers. The family is currently staying in a hotel and will have last minute flights/transportaion going to and from Pensacola along with numerous medical bills and expenses. This could be a very long road to recovery. 

Please help this sweet mama and family. They are some of the best people I know. Janet is a beautiful person inside and out and I pray she will get better everyday and hope  this will help relieve them of some stress along this bumpy road ahead of them.
