Thank you for taking a moment to read this. We are the García family, and today we are walking through the most painful and heartbreaking moment of our lives.

Gracias por tomarse un momento para leer esto. Somos la familia García y hoy estamos atravesando el momento más doloroso y desgarrador de nuestras vidas.

Our dad, and pastor, Uriel Sr., suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and underwent emergency surgery. Despite the doctors’ efforts, he is now showing no brain activity, and the medical team is preparing to confirm brain death.

Nuestro papá, y pastor, Uriel padre, sufrió un traumatismo craneoencefálico severo y fue operado de emergencia. A pesar de los esfuerzos de los médicos, ahora no muestra actividad cerebral, y el equipo médico se está preparando para confirmar muerte cerebral.

We are praying, trusting God, and holding onto faith even in the middle of this storm. The hospital has been filled with pastors, friends, and brothers and sisters in Christ who have come to pray for him. We have felt God’s presence and the love of many people from around the world lifting us up.

Estamos orando, confiando en Dios y aferrándonos a la fe en medio de esta tormenta. El hospital se ha llenado de pastores, amigos y hermanos en Cristo que han venido a orar por él. Hemos sentido la presencia de Dios y el amor de muchas personas de todas partes del mundo sosteniéndonos.

As we remain by his side, we are facing very high medical expenses due to intensive care. The hospital required an upfront payment, and the final cost will depend on how many days he remains under treatment. These expenses are beyond what our family can cover on our own.

Mientras permanecemos a su lado, nos enfrentamos a gastos médicos muy altos debido a la terapia intensiva. El hospital pidió un anticipo, y el costo final dependerá de cuántos días continúe en tratamiento. Estos gastos superan lo que nuestra familia puede cubrir por sí sola.
