Assistance Following Assault
Isaiah was viciously assaulted on January 28, 2017. The massive facial fractures extended to every bone in his face and a skull fracture resulted in a subdural hematoma. He has had multiple lifesaving surgeries and there are more to come. The month in ICU will be followed by extended hospital care and months of physical therapy. To say the least this has all come at a cost. Isaiah has lost all of his income and he has months of medical treatments ahead of him.
For anyone who knows Isaiah they would say he would “give you the shirt right off his back”. In fact, one of his friends recently recounted seeing him doing just that for a homeless person needing a rain poncho. At Christmas his greatest joy is picking out bicycles to donate to his sister’s school children. Though he would never ask for it himself, I am asking it for him. Please donate to this fund to help cover medical cost and expenses. Isaiah is a man who gave of himself for our country as a Marine and whenever he could as a kind hearted man.
Isaiah shares a very close bond with his sister Joni. She flew in from Dallas to be with him in the weeks just after the attack and has been checking on him several time a day. She will be traveling back and forth to care for him and make sure he has everything he needs. It is Joni who will receive these funds and see that they are spent on Isaiah’s behalf.
