Teri 's Fight against Lung Cancer

Dear Friends,
Many of you may know my Mother as just my mom. Many of you may remember her as their band and choir instructor from middle school (if it was back then you would have known her as Mrs. Watkins). Some of you may even remember her marching our little 6th grade band in the 4th of July parade in what was the coldest July of my memory (I swear it snowed a little that afternoon). You may know her from teaching your children piano, or maybe even your grandchildren to sing. Many, many more of you will know her from playing the piano for the Mt Shasta High School music program for 20 years. One way or the other she has touched many, many lives and brought music to so many corners of our little community.
Last December, Mom received a diagnosis of lung cancer. She has until now chosen, for the most part, to keep this private. The time has now come that she reach out and ask for help.
Mom has specifically chosen not to pursue chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery. Instead, while working with medical professionals: Dr. Henry Kostecki, Dr. Richard Shearer MD, she is actively pursuing several different courses of medical alternatives to combat the cancer. These include GcMAF therapy (http://immunemedicine.com/available-therapies/gcmaf/), ozone treatment (http://www.cancertutor.com/ozone/), cannabis oil treatmentment (http://www.cureyourowncancer.org/how-cannabis-oil-works), and Standard Process Cancer Protocol.
The costs are mounting, and she is also finally succumbing to Doctors' order to lighten her teaching load. She needs more free time to rest and give her body more energy to heal. This, obviously, means less income.
We have decided on a goal of $10,000. This is the estimated costs to get through the next 3 months worth of treatments, some of the income loss and the CT Scan she plans on recieving in July to check her progress.
It is apparent to me that this course of treatment is working. She has more energy now than in December, and also has less pain. I believe in her decision to embrace this alternative course and trust the advice of the medical professionals she has chosen.
Please share this so we can help my mom in this healing process.
Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.
