Please help Yvette with ongoing medical bills.

Hi, this is my lovely friend Yvette.

Yvette is one of life's 'glass half full' kinda people, always seeing the silver lining, never complaining, humble and she is a kind caring mum of three and a loyal trusted friend.

Many people (even those that know her) may not be aware of the challenging life-threatening health battle Yvette has endured. She was born with kidney disease and has led a life of restrictions, medications, medical teams, and hospital stays and for the last 6 years has been hooked up to a dialysis machine all night every night.

Last week a midnight phone call changed her life. After 5 years of being on the transplant list, she received THE call and was fortunate enough to receive a kidney from a beautiful anonymous donor.

Whilst Yvette is blessed and grateful to have been given this opportunity to now 'really live her life' hopefully without dialysis and with a functioning kidney (although the diet and medication restrictions are larger than before), it astounds me that her ongoing medical bills are $250-$300 per month for the rest of her life.

I/she (even though she didn't want me to do this) would appreciate any donation you could spare to assist in taking a little pressure off her financially and support the burdening cost of ongoing medication.
