I have spent decades building an ethical business rooted in fair trade and dignity for women farmers in Ghana.

Through Sheabutter Cottage and the Jilima Co-op, I have always focused on supporting others. Today, the reality of the current economy and rising costs has pushed us to the edge of survival.

This is not just a business. It is a lifeline.

Sheabutter Cottage was born from a commitment to ethical sourcing and community empowerment, working directly with the farmers including women of the Jilima Co-op so they receive fair prices and real opportunities to support their families. Right now, we are struggling to keep the doors open and products available.

If we cannot reach this goal, the impact will be devastating, not only for me, but for the women in Ghana who rely on this partnership to support their families.

• Emergency restocking so we can buy raw materials, fulfill orders, and restore cash flow

• Protecting our farmers by honouring our fair trade commitments to the Jilima Co-op

• Keeping the business alive by covering essential overheads that are currently overwhelming us
