Please help this Mama fight cancer for her baby

Humbly and with humility, I am hoping you will consider helping my dear friend of 40 years, Malinda Kitna-Williams, care for her daughter and her family as they endeavor into a chapter of their lives no parents ever imagine will happen to them.

In November 2024, Malinda’s youngest daughter was diagnosed with leukemia. Determined to be present for every moment and to fight for a cure for her daughter, Malinda made the decision any mother would and took a leave of absence from work and became a warrior against cancer. As time has progressed, resources are lean, and the ends get further apart to meet.

This week, Malinda and her husband were given the news no parents want to hear. Unfortunately, her baby girl's body can take no more, and there isn’t an option to proceed as she is just not strong enough to keep going.

With counseling from her incredible medical team, they have made the decision as a family to live through the final moments of this journey doing what they can to give their daughter the moments of beauty that still exist in this world. It is their intention to hold family dinners, go swimming, and complete the activities she desires as long as it brings a smile to her face and joy to her heart.

Malinda's road has been so long, and she is so tired. She’s worked so hard to hold it together, but surrenders it all in this moment and with gratitude would accept any help you would be willing to give her. She knows that while she’s come so far, she has that much further to go still and she just can’t do it alone.
