Help Baby Blakeley Live!

**PLEASE PRAY/DONATE/SHARE**

**Update - 5/31/22 - Blakeley is scheduled for a new dialysis catheter on Friday. She has battled an infection and tons of fluid on her fragile body due to not being put on dialysis in a timely manner after her g-tube surgery. Now, her catheter is blocked and has to be replaced. She has been without dialysis since 5/2/22. Her body is struggling with so much fluid on it. We are hoping she can get back to Dallas and get proper care. Oklahoma is not equipped to take care of her properly. Praying for a miracle!!

**Update - 4/25/22 Blakeley was transferred to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health. It was a rocky start as they pushed her fill volume on her dialysis too fast causing much discomfort and it had to be lowered back down. Once lowered she was much more comfortable and happier. On 5/2/22 Blakeley had her G-Tube surgically installed by her dialysis port. Her surgery went well. We are hoping this will help her thrive. She will have a cleft palate repair hopefully by her one year mark. Once her fill volume is at 100 she will be able to go home. She is currently around 65!

**Blakeley Faith was born on 2/28/22 and put on dialysis 3 days later! Our girl is so strong and such a fighter! She is doing great with dialysis. We are hoping she will be transferred closer to home soon in OK. She is currently in Dallas. She initially needed a breathing tube to help her with oxygen levels but she now is off all oxygen and her feeding tube has been moved to her nose.

**Update*** Namon and Michelle found Dr Magee at the Fetal Care Center in Dallas TX @ Medical City Dallas Hospiatl which has given Blakeley life saving amnio infusions. Blakeley’s diagnosis changed to Unilateral Renal Agenesis and Renal Displaysia. After only a few infusions, her once non existent kidney that now exists but was not working, is now working to some extent. They need your help to share their story and help donate to continue this life saving journey. Pray for their family***

Please help Namon and Michelle save Baby Blakeley!! On November 4, 2021 while 21 weeks 1 day pregnant, they were handed life altering, devastating news no family wants to hear. They were told their baby girl is missing both kidneys, also known as Bilateral Renal Agenesis and her chance of survival is 1%!! They were told to plan for her funeral. Michelle will have to carry her daughter to 37 weeks knowing she will only live a couple hours until her breathing stops (she suffocates from lack of lung development) if she makes it to birth. No kidneys for their daughter means no amniotic fluid produced. No amniotic fluid means her lungs cannot develop as well as limbs, facial features etc. This is one of the most rare disorders and with anything rare there is little to NO FUNDING by the state. BUTTT THERE IS A TRIAL!!! HOPE!!! A CHANCE!! This trial has been successful. They will inject fluid for the baby so lungs and body parts can grow and function as normal as possible while she develops in the womb. This trial is only available in 3 states that we know of at this point but their insurance will not cover any of it. On top of that, there will be a lot of travel cost as they live in Oklahoma. Please, please help them raise money for the trial, travel, and the cost of NICU. Any little bit will go a long way. The best and closest state to them for their baby to have a chance is in Texas where the trial is offered but the state doesn’t want to pay the NICU cost and take their case. They have no time to fight them. EVERY SECOND IS CRITICAL! What happened to Texas being pro-life?! I guess pro-life unless it costs them money. Their daughter’s needs will only start in the womb. Once she is born, she will need to be on dialysis the next two years of her life before kidney transplant becomes an option. As parents, Michelle and Namon will do anything they can to fight for their baby girl. Giving up is not an option. Every baby deserves a chance in the womb or out. This has been an unbelievable, emotional toll as they also have their 7 month old son to care for and Michelle is currently high risk on top of everything else. This road is long but together and with your help we can fight to save Blakeley’s life!!
