Please help Jim and Jenny expand their family

If you are reading this, we want to first thank you for giving us a moment of your time.
Jim and I have always wanted kids. We have been married for 11 yrs and always wondered why we hadn't conceived yet. We always thought "next month will be the month" and then were too scared to find out the truth as to why we hadn't. Finances weren't great and we would just think of every month the pregnancy test said no was another month we could try and save money back. This went on for years.
Finally, last year, we had some money set back and were able to investigate a little further. Fertility testing results brought news we had never expected. It would be a miracle if I were to conceive a child. Basically my body decided to go pre-menopausal way before it should. Some numbers were too high and others too low. IVF was not really an option due to finances and the percentage of success being extremely low. Obviously we were devastated. We were angry. Our dreams were being washed away. At that time adoption was not on the table as we were too hurt to even consider it. We thought for sure we would get our miracle baby and God would prove the specialists wrong.
Over this past year we have reflected and tried to heal. We have had a nagging feeling in the back of our minds. As much as we love our fur kids, we still felt incomplete. We sought advice from our pastors and started investigating the possibility of adoption. We feel God still wants us to have a child even if they are not biologically related. We recently applied to an adoption agency to start our journey. We have 60 days to come up with $5,600 to sign the contract and begin the home study. It is estimated the adoption costs will be around $24, 350 but that could change if we need to travel out of state. While we can afford to care for our child, the costs of adoption and the contract/home study are a big hurdle for us. We can't even apply for grants until the home study has been completed.
We know this is a big ask and please know we have had to go way out of our comfort zone to even approach the concept of asking for financial help. Anyone who knows us knows how well our fur babies are taken care of and this baby (when we are matched) will be no exception. If you can't help financially, please share and keep us in your prayers. We are more than ready to expand our family but we need a little help if we can get it. We truly appreciate your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Jim and Jenny Penny
