Please help Cindy’s Fight with Breast Cancer

We are starting this fundraiser for my beautiful, kind, funny, sweet sister, Cindy (Crookshank) Bender as she battles breast cancer. Cindy is a dedicated mother and kindergarten teacher who has had a difficult year and a half. Her husband, Roger (Billy) Bender, unexpectedly passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 51. Roger did not have life insurance plus Cindy went from a dual-income family to her single-income teacher’s salary. Finances have been very strained, along with the emotional toll of losing her husband of 21 years. Her financial situation will be even more strained as she will be on short-term disability, which means she will not receive her full salary, along with all her medical expenses. She will be facing multiple surgeries this year, a double mastectomy plus reconstructive surgeries. You may know Cindy from schools where she has taught: West Ridge Academy, Loveland Classical, and New Vision. If you can help financially, it would be greatly appreciated.
