Pike Dream Girl Fundraiser Spring 2024 New Members

Dear New Members of Pi Kappa Alpha - We are honored to announce the 2024 Dream Girl Philanthropy Event. Your support for this wonderful cause is greatly anticipated!

The Children's Glaucoma Foundation is dedicated to helping programs that assist children impacted by this form of childhood blindness. Childhood glaucoma, though rare, results in permanent blindness for approximately 300,000 children globally and develops in 1 out of every 10,000 children. The foundation aims to enhance the standard of glaucoma care worldwide by fostering ongoing research, providing training and support for physicians, and offering aid to affected families.

The Lambda Nu Chapter at Boston University is thrilled to announce our 14th annual Pike’s Dream Girl philanthropy event, scheduled for April 8th, 2024. Dream Girl is a cherished tradition within the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Representatives from various student communities across the Boston University community will partake in a talent show competition that consists of four distinct categories: Letters, Athletics, Talent, and Formal. The champion will receive a non-cash prize, along with the esteemed title of Dream Girl, complete with a crown, sash, and the honor of serving as Pike’s Dream Girl for the next year.

All proceeds will be matched by a generous donor and donated to The Children's Glaucoma Foundation, a nonprofit tax-exempt organization. 12.5% of the total proceeds will be donated to the PIKE Foundation which supports our scholarships and frequent mandatory trips to PIKE University leadership summits around the nation. Last year total donations topped $65,000! Pike's brothers look forward to trying to beat this number and contributing to such a valuable cause!
