Our beloved Peter Cavallaro blew his knee out doing what loves: showing off his short game.

After a long and arduous tennis career, it is no surprise that his knees are shot, and he is now looking at knee replacement number 2. Except this one is going to be harder: he is older (though better looking!) and has been fighting off some nasty infections in his knee.

Peter is always there to help someone in need, whether it's some extra time at the end of a lesson, or a quick "can you look at this?" or "I need new clubs!". And I dare anyone to tell me a time he didnt have a goofy smile plastered on his face.

Peter is in a tough spot. He is likely going to be out for about 4 months between surgery and recovery, and he could use some help. We are looking to raise $10,000 for him between now and Christmas to help him get through this so that he can get back out there and do what he loves.

The $10,000 are to be broken up as follows:
$1,500: Pre-treatment
$4,000: Knee replacement surgery
$1,000: Physical therapy
$3,500: Bare minimum living expenses

Peter is always there for everyone else as a coach, friend and mentor, never really asking for anything in return. It is time we return the favor.
