Patty Mozal

Hi, we are Nola Schlueter and Wendy Hanczar and we are creating this GoFundMe for Sara Mozal-Becker, in honor of her dear mother, Patty. My (Nola's) daughter Stephanie who has Rett Syndrome has been riding at Hooves to Heal since the fall or winter of 2010. Noelle Hanczar has been riding for 13 years also. Our girls have benefitted from this program in more ways than we can describe. Patty and Sara have been there every step of the way, through illnesses and injuries and losses of our own. It is now time to help them in any way possible. The abruptness of a death is indescribable, horrific, and distressing to say the least. If you knew Patty, you know she was the most dedicated, compassionate and giving person you will ever meet. She treated every person with respect, decency and dignity, and we will miss her more than words can describe. Now, we wish to support Sara specifically, to assist with basic needs not only to help her immediate family, who depended on Patty for so much, but to support her in order to help Hooves To Heal to continue thriving. This program is crucial and necessary to our riders with special needs, who rely on this therapy for basic health and mobility issues and not surprisingly, enjoyment. We parents of riders know we will persist and continue to support this valuable program, and will do whatever it takes to surround Sara and the other employees and volunteers to sustain and grow our program as an honor to Patty. We realize that it will be painful to "walk on" but we accept the challenge and will make Patty proud.
