Pat Hamilton and Family
Donation protected
Last July my cousin, Tim Hamilton, died suddenly. Last Thursday his beloved wife had a massive brain aneurism and intracranial bleed. She lay undiscovered for several hours and, after being discovered, was airlifted from Brattleboro to Dartmouth Hitchcock where she was in surgery for about six hours. Five days later the intracranial pressure is down and she has responded to antibiotics fighting pneumonia. Mark and Sarah, her son and daughter-in-law, have been by her side. Lindsay and Eric, her daughter and son-in-law, flew up from Florida immediately.
A gazillion prayers have gone out for Pat... for her situation to stabilize, for her to be able to breathe on her own, for her to be able to respond to her family, and for her recovery. She is not out of the woods yet as it will be at least a week before the impact of this awful situation can be measured.
The family is asking for donations to help defray the cost of all the travel, lodging, and related expenses. (And, if the sap is running, Mark may need help on the farm, too.) If you can help, they will be so grateful.
Thanks so much to everyone for all your caring.
