Pastor David Rhodes' Cancer Expense Fund

“A hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people.” With this in mind, to call Pastor David E. Rhodes Sr. a hero would be a complete understandment. A man who has spent his life in service of others-- showing love, compassion, hope and kindness to all he meets-- is now in need of service himself. In the early weeks of June, while the world was fighting with a global pandemic, Pastor Rhodes was lying in a hospital bed for nearly two weeks. What started out as a simple trip to the doctor turned into a nightmare for him and everyone who loves him. Pastor Rhodes was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Multiple Myeloma-- a type of blood and bone cancer. Since then, his life and the lives of those around him have drastically changed. Included in this physical hardship has come the burden of financial hardships as well. So, we ask all of you, our village, to perform your own act of heroism. Pastor David E. Rhodes Sr., is my husband; my brother; my son; my daddy; my friend— and he needs us all to come together and fight to save him the way he has done for so many others. Anything helps.
