On February 19th and 22nd, Palmerton Municipal Fire Department responded to two fires in the local area. Both fires took considerable resources to get under control and several families have been displaced. The Palmerton Municipal Fire Department is using this money to purchase smoke detectors and CO monitors for Palmerton citizens.
