I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to you today to ask for your help and invite you to take part in a life-changing journey. I have recently been accepted to Edinburgh University to pursue a Master's degree in Global Mental Health. However, I am in need of financial assistance to cover the expenses that come with this incredible opportunity.

Growing up as a woman in a conservative community in occupied Palestine, I experienced first-hand the limitations and restrictions imposed on me simply because of my gender. I felt like a prisoner inside my own body, confined by societal norms and outdated traditions. The lack of freedom to express myself, pursue my passions, and make choices for my own future took a toll on my mental health. I knew that breaking free from this cycle was not only essential for my own well-being but also so I could become an agent of change in my community.

I witnessed the dire consequences of the lack of education and mental health care in my community. A close friend's suicidal ideations intensified my feelings of despair. It became painfully evident that our community urgently needs education and mental health resources. This experience, combined with the loss of another friend to suicide, fueled my desire to pursue education in the field of mental health.

The journey I hope to take at Edinburgh University holds immense promise for empowering future generations, in Palestine and beyond. However, there are considerable obstacles in my way, such as the price of tuition, living expenses, visa applications, airfare , and early personal expenses. I am humbly asking for your support to help me make this goal a reality.

The total amount needed to cover my expenses is $55,000, which will be allocated as follows:

University Fees: $33,000

Dormitories: $13,000

Visa Application, Airfare, and Personal Expenditures: $9,000
