Hey everyone, for those who don't know me, my name is Naty Rosario, I am 20 years old and currently attend Bard College. (I'm bad at explaining situations so I'll try my best) I really need to secure housing due to the fact that my family does not have the space I would need to focus, remain safe and successful. They've done so much for me but for those who know me closely, you know why this will not work. My family recently moved to CT leaving me to apply for affordable housing that has not got back to me at all. I've been looking for apartments this whole year with no success. I am currently trying to get an apartment in NYC to keep my scholarship since I am fully on the verge of losing it. This school is not cheap, so I am doing my best to make sure that the price remains the same. Since they moved, I have lost Medicaid, housing, and my savings at Bard. I would like to move back to NY to maintain a better life for myself since I do not mind working throughout my semester. I would really just like to pay an apartment off even it's for 5 months. Something that'll help get me on my feet and save money without having to jeopardize my space and my mental health for it.
