House Fire Funds

One day everything was completely normal with my family. I left to go to work, Tyler, my boyfriend, went to hangout with a friend, our daughters were at their grandma's house. The two dogs were at home with their four, five day old puppies. I went home to check on the puppies. The closer I got to our home I could see smoke and then realized fire was coming out the second floor window! I tried to open the door to save the dogs. The smoke was so bad I couldn’t breathe. Thank God for the brave neighbor who came over to go in to rescue the dogs. The mom and puppies were downstairs, but unfortunately the male dog was upstairs where the fire started and more smoke got in his lungs, his is being watched closely. As soon as Tyler got home he ran towards the house and the firefighter was screaming at him to stop because the power line was burning and they thought it might fall. Tyler didn’t hear him as we are both deaf. This was the scariest, heartbreaking thing we have ever had to deal with. We lost all of our belongings and were left with the clothes that we were wearing. Most importantly, neither my family nor animals got hurt and we are all still together. If this fire would have happened when we were all sleeping it could have been 100 times worse.
