Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser for Erin Etzel

Doação protegida

Erin Etzel opened her drive-thru coffee shop The Queen Bean less than a year ago and it has already become a staple in the College Park area of Staunton.

Recently, however, she was recently diagnosed with Stage 1 Ovarian Cancer. Her coffee shop located in the Terry Court Shopping Center at 2201 N. Augusta St. in Staunton will be closed for the week while she recovers and focuses on not only her health, but also on fully staffing her shop in her absence.

"Thankfully it was caught early and they feel I will make a full recovery, but I do have to go through several treatments of chemotherapy," she said.

As a community we work to build up the people around us with love, prayers, and anything we can do to help one another. This is our simple way of being able to show the love to someone who needs a little bit of it right now.

The members of Curves/ Jenny Craig in Staunton (in the parking lot where her coffee shop is located) started out with a simple job: while her business was temporarily closed due to illness, we would step up to help pay her rent the following month. But we realized that so many people in the community wanted to do so much more. So we set up this gofundme page for the community, family, and friends to rally around not only an business owner and neighbor, but also to rally around a wonderful friend.

Thank you for all of your donations, love and prayers to this beautiful and humble warrior. You've got this babe!
