Hey friends, it's Lou Bishop with the TC Tremors. I am here to ask for help for a friend to all of us in the softball world, Neil Swanchak of the CT Charmers. For those of you who didn't know (and I was one of those), Neil had diabetes. Well, about seven weeks ago, Neil had to have his toes removed due to this illness. He has been in rehab since and has about one more week there. His insurance didnt really help him much and left him with large medical bills, and they are still coming. The bills have wiped Neil and his wife out of their savings. Neil's wife also has medical issues with arthritis and very rarley leaves the house. Between both of their medical issues, they are in a very bad way right now. Neil has given to the sport for thirty-five years and has helped hundreds of female athletes and has made many, many friends. I know the softball world is a very tight group. Even those who aren't close seem to rally together for the right reason, and I believe this is one of those reasons. Neil and his wife can use our help. Here is hoping that we all rally together and help a great human who would give his shirt off his back for anyone. Please think about helping out and give. He plans on being out there on the softball field mid-summer, so here is to hoping to see you in July, my friend. Please, lets rally together and help him.
