My name is Naomi Shedd and I am from Acworth, Georgia. Due to my brother's life long incarceration, I am passionate and excited to support and raise funds for My Sister's House in New Bern, North Caroline which is operated by Tried by Fire. My Sister's House is a place that provides a safe home and a pathway of resources for women who are seeking recovery and re-entry after incarceration. I want to support women who are working toward a new beginning and need a safe, stable place where they can start rebuilding their lives with dignity, support, and hope by riding my OneWheel across the Southern Tier of America.

50% of the funds donated will go to My Sister's House to help empower women as they reintegrate into society by supportive programs that foster independence and resilience as they move forward toward successful reintegration into jobs, family life, and future housing. These resources can make the difference between feeling lost and having a real chance at stability and self-sufficiency.
