O Lagar de azeite no Cabeço do Infante

Olá, mijn naam is Olga en woon sinds een aantal jaren in Cabeço do Infante (Portugal), het dorp waar een prachtig oude olijvenpers 'O lagar' staat. Een door leren banden aangedreven fabriekje met drie mooie konische molenstenen die de olijven persen. Een prachtig oude pers die niet mag verdwijnen. Ook wij laten onze olijven hier persen en het resultaat is een zeer smaakvolle olijfolie van hoge kwaliteit. Er zit ook veel kennis bij het team die de lagar jaarlijks runt.

De lagar is oud en heeft groot onderhoud nodig wil het niet verloren gaan, zoals vele andere lagars in deze streek. Deze crowdfunding is opgezet om de hoge kosten voor de noodzakelijke reparatie bij elkaar te verzamelen, zodat dit cultureel erfgoed blijft bestaan en de gemeenschap de olijven hier kan blijven persen.

Olá, chamo-me Olga e vivo há vários anos no Cabeço do Infante, aldeia onde existe um bonito e antigo lagar de azeite. Uma fábrica movida por cintos de couro com três belas mós cónicas que prensam as azeitonas. Uma bela imprensa antiga que não deveria desaparecer. Também aqui prensamos as nossas azeitonas e o resultado é um azeite muito saboroso e de grande qualidade. A equipa que todos os anos gere o lagar tem também muito conhecimento.

O lagar é antigo e necessita de grandes manutenções para não se perder, como muitos outros lagares desta região. Este crowdfunding foi criado para aumentar os elevados custos das reparações necessárias, para que este património cultural continue a existir e a comunidade possa continuar a prensar a azeitona aqui.
