Hope for Angela

On October 11, 2021, Angela (Ryan) Giovannoni—our vibrant, fun-loving, and caring single mother of two—suffered an aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage and was med-flighted for life-saving surgery. The doctors found and repaired the aneurysm; however, she’s unconscious and has a drain tube in her head, and she has developed a C. Diff infection. She’s expected to be in the ICU for at least 12 weeks. Angela is breathing with the aid of a ventilator and is slightly moving her arms and legs when stimulated. She is receiving frequent procedures to administer medication into the blood vessels in her brain to prevent strokes. The doctors have stressed that this will be a long and difficult process for Angela.
