I am a foster parent of three amazing kids. We are also in the middle of the adoption process. My goal this year was to purchase a home for my kids. Not only this I get calls weekly for new placements but don’t have the space for them in our tiny apartment.
I saved up the money for down payment and was doing a great job with credit repair. Everything was within reach until COVID.
Because of Covid I was furloughed from work. In that time my unemployment would not go through and I dipped into my savings. I received a 5 day notice to pay past due rent. After paying this I have nothing left in my savings and we are back to square one of saving up for the house and with credit repair.(also have nothing left for everyday expenses and the kids summer plans). I ask that you please donate and help me get the funds to get back on track with having a home for
my kids and being able to keep my door open for any child who needs it.
