Help Sarah with Medical Expenses

Asking for prayer and support for my sister, Sarah Bean!
An old injury from a car accident 11 years ago has flared up in the last couple of months causing lots of pain.
After trying several treatment options, she ended up having emergency surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center on November 22 to clean out an infection that had compromised a deep pocket in her leg.
Sarah teaches 7th grade English in Emporia, Kansas. She does not currently have health insurance until January so none of these expenses will be covered.
She is left with a large and very deep wound that must heal from the inside out. This will be a long, arduous and uncomfortable process.
However, our whole family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of prayers and support. Sarah is in much less pain than before surgery. We are thanking Jesus for his protection as this situation could have been so much worse! Sarah was able to go home to our parent’s house where she will be recovering for a while.
She is hoping to be able to go back to teaching her Middle School students soon.
Please continue to keep Sarah in your prayers as she will be dealing with the healing of this wound for quite some time and also the financial challenges this event has caused. If you are able to help in any way, we are so grateful!
Her needs are great, but our God is greater! He has been so present throughout this whole process wrapping Sarah and our whole family in His peace, wisdom, and strength. We are forever grateful for His presence in our lives and in our journey!
We want to thank all our wonderful friends and family for your loving care, support, and most of all, your prayers. “Team Sarah,” keep praying!
