Hello Friends and Family of Nina Collier. As many know, she was diagnosed with Stage 2 HER+ Breast Cancer back in November of last year. Since then, she's had many rounds of PET scans, MRIs, Echocardiograms, Five rounds of chemo to date, and many biopsies.
After the last round of chemo in April, she will have surgery, still factoring what that will look like, and many rounds of radiation after all that which will require missing work. She's been an absolute trooper trying to work through all of this, despite battling the side effects of chemotherapy.
As many also know, Nina does not like asking for help as she has been an independent, strong, independent business women now for over twenty years in the tattoo industry. She has two rents to pay with her studio and her home, and falls through the cracks for any state assistance to help cover anything.
Her insurance is only covering tips of the financial Iceberg she's navigating, and will only increase with the time off from work and mounting medical expenses from the surgery and everything else. The goal is high, but as many probably know who's dealt with, or known someone to go through cancer treatments, it's wildly expensive and can really be detrimental to someone with assets if they don't get it squared away one way or the other.
